Romeo and Juliet is a modern classic of the ballet repertoire, since its creation by Royal Ballet director Kenneth MacMillan and premiered in 1965. In this special Valentine's Day performance, doomed lovers Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague, two youngsters from hostile families, try to find their way in the colorful and vibrant Verona of the Renaissance. The orchestra is from the Royal Opera House.
