Star Party

75 minutes
Dutch spoken
In cooperation with

This is a giant screen dome film.

Ticket: €8,50

Omniversum, NOVA and KNVWS take you to the stars during the Star Party!

The planetarium performances are given on the impressive dome by astronomers from NOVA (Netherlands Research School for Astronomy). Afterwards, amateur astronomers from the KNVWS (Royal Dutch Association for Weather and Astronomy) will be standing outside with telescopes, so you can take a look at the starry sky for yourself!

There are two performances, with stargazing afterwards:

  • 7.00 pm - 8:15 pm: Star Party Family (special show for families with children from 4 to 12 years old)
  • 8.30 pm - 9.45 pm: Star Party

NB: The self stargazing only takes place in clear weather!

The program takes place in the context of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) proclaimed 100 Hours of Astronomy and the Weekend of Science, which will be held on October 2 and 3 this year.
