Bookings and reservations

How do I book online tickets?

As long as a performance isn't sold out, tickets are available online until 60 minutes before the start of the show. After ordering and completing the payment, you will receive your ticket(s) by email. You won't need to queue to pick up your ticket(s), just go to the theatre entrance. We do advise that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the film. Please ensure that the ticket details are correct and make sure to have them ready to be checked. Tickets are also available at the cashier at the Omniversum.

 

How many tickets can I buy per transaction?

You can buy a maximum of 20 tickets per online transaction. Should you wish to make a booking for a larger group, you can do so by making multiple transactions. We cannot guarantee, however, that the whole group will be seated together if multiple transactions are made. If your group is 20 or more guests, we would advise you to make a group reservation. 070-3545454 (Mon - Sun 9.00-17.00).

 

Can I choose a specific seat in the theatre?

If you buy tickets online via www.omniversum.nl you can select seats yourself. The row and seat number is listed on the e-ticket. Omniversum applies a number of seating rules. For example, it is not possible to leave one or three seats free on the aisles or between adjacent already sold seats.

What are the online payment options?

Online payment options are iDEAL, Mastercard and Visa.

 

Can I redeem vouchers or any other offers online?

For most discounts, free tickets, vouchers and other offers it is possible to redeem these via www.omniversum.nl. You can also redeem discounts / free tickets / vouchers at the Omniversum counter. The Rotterdampas and the Ooievaarspas can not be redeemed online. If you are in possession of one of these passes, it is best to make an online reservation. You can then have the card validated at the Omniversum cash register. It is not necessary to mention this in the reservation.

NB. If you have purchased a voucher via an external party, please check the conditions on the voucher in advance, as it is possible that said party will ask for the voucher to be redeemed on its own website (ie not at Omniversum) before you can return it to Omniversum.

Are already purchased tickets refundable?

Omniversum does not provide refunds. Tickets bought online can be changed up to 1 hour before the start of the relevant film to another performance (based on availability). This can be done at the cash desk of Omniversum or by telephone during opening hours via 070-3545454. The same applies to tickets purchased at the ticket office. However, the tear strip with barcode must still be attached to the original ticket. Tickets for shows that have already taken place cannot be changed or exchanged for new tickets.

What should I do if I have not received my ticket or if I have lost it?

Having purchased a ticket, if you have not received an email with a QR code, please contact us on 070-3545454 (Contact hours: 09.00-17.00) Tip - check your spam box.

 

How can I buy a ticket suitable for a wheelchair?

Wheelchair or disabled places can only be booked by telephone from Mon-Sun between 09.00 and 17.00 via 070-3545454. The places are suitable for wheelchairs with a maximum width of 850 mm.

 

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made online by selecting the film, date and time of your choice and choosing the screen for reservations. Reservations for wheelchair spaces can only be made by telephone on 070-3545454 between 09.00 and 17.00. Reserved tickets must be picked up at the ticket office no later than half an hour before the start of the film.

I am not able to collect the tickets half an hour in advance, will my reservation be cancelled?

Reservations that have not been collected at least half an hour before the start will be cancelled. It is then only possible to buy tickets at the ticket office for the places available at that time.

Changes and cancellations

Can I cancel or change my purchased tickets?

Vouchers and promotions

I have a discount token or voucher. How can I use it?

Most discounts can be redeemed both online and at the Omniversum cash register. See also Can I redeem vouchers etc.online? No refund is given on tickets already purchased.

Can I visit Omniversum and use a generic theatre or cinema voucher?

No. Omniversum does not accept anything but Omniversum vouchers which are available at the ticket box.

Is my museumjaarkaart valid with Omniversum?

Unfortunately not.

What is the cut-off time in terms off entrance to the theatre?

To avoid disturbing other guests, we do not allow entry to the theatre after the film has started and as such we recommend that you ensure that your are aware of possible problems in terms of traffic, public transport and parking.

 

How do I show my e-ticket in Omniversum?

You can show your e-ticket either by using the QR code on your smartphone or with a printed e-ticket at the theatre entrance. With an e-ticket you don`t need to wait at the ticket office. If you have made a reservation for several people, please ensure that all members of your group have a QR code on their smartphone or a printed copy of the e-ticket.

 

What should I do if I don`t have a smartphone to show my ticket?

You can make a printout of your e-ticket at home. Omniversum cannot help you with this on-site. Your printed e-ticket will be scanned at the theatre entrance.

Parking availability

Does Omniversum have it`s own parking area?

Unfortunately not but there is a small public parking area in front of the main entrance. If this is full, we would advise you to park in eith The Hague Marriot Hotel or the Worldforum. More about parking and public transport.

 

 

Does Omniversum provide parking for the disabled?

The parking area has two parking spaces reserved for the disabled.

Performances

For how long are the films shown?

The films are scheduled one month before the first showing. You can check the schedule using the homepage - calendar.

How long do the performances last and are there any breaks?

The performances last around 50 minutes and there are no breaks.

 

Are the films subtitled in Dutch?

The Omniversum performances are all performed in Dutch but by using the Cinema Connect app for your smartphone, you can follow the film in English using headphones. We would advise you to bring your own headphones as we do not provide them.

 

Is Omniversum suitable for children under four?

Omniversum believes that parents themselves can best assess whether their children can attend a cinema visit. However, keep in mind that the combination of the large screen and loud sound effects can be overwhelming for some, especially young children.

Genereal questions

Can I take pets into the theatre?

No. Animals are not permitted. The only exception is a guide dog.

I`ve lost something. Has it been found?

If you have lost or forgotten something please contact us on 070 3545454 (Mon - Sun 09.00 - 17.00). We will look into the matter and if your property is found, an appointment will be made for you to collect it.

Does Omniversum offer a coat-check service?

No, unfortunately not.
